Nike is a Chartered Electronics Engineer with a doctorate in Electronics Engineering. She chairs the Association for Black and Minority Ethnic Engineers (AFBE-UK), a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to promoting higher achievements in engineering and education among Black and Ethnic minority backgrounds in the UK. She is also a Trustee at EngineeringUK and StemetteFutures. Additionally, Nike has received two honorary doctorates in Science and Technology from the University of Kent and UWE Bristol.
